Late effects of chemotherapy on learning

My son was diagnosed with Pre-B leukemia with blasts in his spinal fluid just before he turned three. He is now eleven, and is gifted, but with learning disabilities related to the intrathecal chemo he needed to survive. My husband and have fought with our school board for three years to get him the exta help that he needs, as recommended by the psychologist at The Toronto Hospital for Sick Children. It has been very frustrating. Please visit my journal for more on this problem.
